Clothing Programs
If there is a need for clothing and one is suffering a crisis and cannot afford to pay, Helping Hands will provide 3 complete sets of clothing and 1 pair of shoes (depending on availability of sizes) to each qualified client. To be qualified for clothing assistance a person must come into the agency offices between the hours of 9a.m. and 12p.m. bringing I.D. with current address, social security cards, and any necessary paperwork pertaining to the crisis.
Our Thrift Shop
The Thrift Shop is open to the public Tuesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Saturday 10a.m. to 2p.m. Clothing and assorted items are available for sale at inexpensive prices. A thrift shop is an excellent place to find those hard to find items, from a carafe for your coffee maker to replace the one you broke to a shade for that odd shaped lamp, if you need it, we will most likely have it.
If you would like to make clothing and/or household item donations, please read here.
